Pal is songs of Albin Johansson from Malmö.
Using guitars, analog synthesizers and vintage drum machines Pal makes a sort of lo-fi electronic pop music. Suggestive and dreamy but at the same time beautiful and warming.
This debut album was recorded and mixed during 2011 in Malmö. It's Mastered at Studio Möllan by Emil Isaksson. All songs are written and performed by Albin Johansson. Some additional help was made by Cristoffer Csanady (Bass), Caroline Karpinska (Violin) and Kristoffer Csanady (Shaker). Cover art by Ivar Bigestans.
Pal started out in 2008 when Albin made a simple recording of some songs in his apartment. A myspace page and some CD:r’s resulted in several live performances, and some credits in various demo columns in magazines. Since then Pal has made several live performances in Europe and has also grown to a live band include bassplayer Cristoffer Csanady and drummer Adam Hjertström (Forest & Crispian).
