Vindla String Quartet celebrates its 10th anniversary by releasing an album with songs written exclusively by its own members. Inspired by a diversity of collaboration partners (e.g. Tingsek, Donna Khalife, Miriam Aida, Ramy Essam) the quartet presents an album influenced by several different genres and with an emphasis on instrumental storytelling.

The string quartets infinite ways of expression is the core of the compositions as well as an exploration of different sounds, harmonies and rhythmic patterns. Vindla is stretching the classical format to break free from the conventional expectations on how a string quartet should sound. “It’s music to feed your fantasy. We want our songs to inspire people to daydreaming and creativity.”
