"An album for anyone who ever crammed a disc man into a tight jacket pocket”. That’s how Cristoffer Csanady, singer and songwriter of AstroMike Gordon, describes their new album On Cloudy Days.

The band wanted to make an album that grows and takes its time to befriend the listener. Therefore the catchiest songs are not first on the album.

” This is music that is meant to be listened to in solitude. I´ts supposed to be an intimate experience. The music tells a story that is clear for anyone who pays attention to it”

They also wanted to make an album that sounds like one of those expensive productions from the 70’s.

”Not retro as in Lofi. More retro as in the perfection. We really love using that old analog equipment and many of the takes on the album are live. But we are no purists. If we needed redo the guitar on some take we did it. And if a digital plug in sounded better then our analog effects, we used the digital one.”
