The soundtrack was originally created for Core Acts theatre performance of the same name, currently being performed at Teater Grob in Copenhagen. The score has already received excellent reviews from both critics and audiences.

Forsling spent two months on the score for Ser du mig, using strings, analog synths, pianette, and a field recording from an abandoned house. The stage performance is based on personal stories about losing everything and falling to the depths, but it also depicts how exclusion from society can lead to solidarity between people. In seeking to capture all this, Forsling combines epic orchestral sounds with dystopian resonances and rhythmic cello patterns and low-key ambiences.

Mika Forsling is a Swedish musician living in Copenhagen. He composes works for theatre and performance art and also performs with the groups LUR (SE), Johanna Borchert(DE), Nuaia (SE/DK) and Cirkeln(DK). This autumn he will be giving concerts with Manuell Göttsching (Ash Ra Tempel, E2-E4), developing his solo project and continuing his work on new performance projects.
